Student Emergency Fund
Through the Office of the Dean of the College, undergraduate students enrolled at Connecticut College are eligible to apply for emergency funding. There is a limited amount of funding available to students to address urgent needs, such as medical and dental emergencies not covered by insurance, prescriptions or medication, and some unanticipated events, including travel emergencies.
This fund provides the Office of the Dean of the College with the flexibility and resources necessary to address student hardships as they arise. The funds are limited and will not cover the entire cost of emergencies. Please contact your Class Dean or or email doc@conncoll.edu. Students who have graduated or who are on leave are not eligible for funding.
The Student Technology Resource Fund
The Student Technology Resource Fund, administered by the Office of the Dean of the College, assists undergraduate students who are receiving need-based financial aid to address their technology needs. Eligible students can receive a laptop computer.
Please contact Dean Ann Schenk at alsch@conncoll.edu or email doc@conncoll.edu for additional information.
Students who have graduated or who are on leave are not eligible for funding.
Course Materials Fund
The course materials fund offers limited reimbursement for books and other course materials to students with financial need. The first $200 of expenses are reimbursed in full for quantified students. Costs above $200 are reimbursed at 50%, to a maximum of $400 per student per academic year.
