of First Year Seminar advisers collaborate with the career office annually
As a Connecticut College graduate, you have put your liberal arts education into action in meaningful ways. You are in a unique position to share your experience, industry knowledge and career advice with current Conn students. The lessons you’ve learned along your career journey can unlock doors for future members of Conn’s expansive alumni network.
There are many ways to get involved, both virtually or in person. Participate in a panel discussion or mock interview, host a job shadow, sponsor an internship, partner with a professor to propose a real-world problem for a Career-Informed Learning course, mentor a student interested in your field, or volunteer in any number of other ways.
To get started, contact alumni@conncoll.edu.
“The Hale Center for Career Development has shown me how I can highlight valuable transferable skills that I sometimes am not even aware that I am demonstrating, whether it be in the classroom, at practice, or in an internship and then how to relay these relevant skills to employers.”
