Transfer Credit
Any full-time students who would like to receive credit for a mathematics or statistics course taken at another institution should send the course description and syllabus to the department chair (Priya Kohli) for pre-approval. If the course is conducted remotely, please be aware that it would need to be offered primarily in a synchronous format – in other words, there would need to be regular class meetings at pre-scheduled times. If the course is approved by the department, the student would need to fill out and submit a transfer credit application form.
Syllabi for mathematics and statistics courses at Connecticut College can be found here. Please be aware that this repository is restricted to current Connecticut College faculty, staff, and students.
Enrollment Caps
Instructors should adhere to the enrollment caps approved by AAPC when offering courses and communicate any enrollment issues with the department chair. A percentage of seats may be reserved for students who need prioritized access to the courses crucial for their academic development. Any exceptions to this policy need to be discussed with the department and documented with justification outlining the reason for the exception.
