Windows 7 - Installing Windows Software via Software Center and Launching Software Center
1) Click on the Start Menu or press the Windows key on your keyboard
2) Click All Programs
3) Choose Microsoft System Center
4) Choose Configuration Manager
5) Choose Software Center
6) In Software Center, Choose the software you want to install on the Available Software tab
7) Click Install
8) You can follow the installation status of your software on the Installation Status tab
9) Once the software has been installed, the Status column should be updated to “Installed” and your Software should be listed on the Installed Software tab
10) If your software does not install or a status of “Failed” is returned, please contact the IT Service Desk
It could take up to 15 minutes for your computer to establish a connection to the Software Center Server. If you try to access Software Center too soon, you might see the following message:

If that happens, wait a few minutes and try again. If you still experience issues, contact the IT Service Desk.
