The Office of Finance and Administration oversees the business and administrative operations of the College, including coordination of legal affairs.
The Vice President for Finance and Administration reports to the President and provides leadership for the various operations that serve faculty, staff, students, alumni, visitors and friends of the College, including:
Accounting - The Accounting Office is responsible for the overall accounting and financial reporting services for the College. The mission of the office is to account for, report on and safeguard the financial resources of the institution in a manner that supports the College's mission.
Facilities Management - Responsible for planning, design, construction, renovation, repair, maintenance, operation and general housekeeping of all College administrative, academic, residential and athletic properties; maintaining the grounds of the campus (including athletic fields); employee and workplace environmental health and safety; implementation of the Master Plan; implementing sound contract and procurement business practices; coordinating environmental compliance and conservation programs; motor vehicle fleet management.
Financial Planning - Responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the College's cash operating budget and long-term financial plan. It is also responsible for integrating capital planning and restricted funding into those plans to meet the needs of current and future students.
Dining Services - Responsible for providing board plan dining services to students; a la carte food services for students, faculty, staff and visitors; campus vending services; staff development in food and quality service management.
Events and Catering - Responsible for managing, planning and implementing all campus events; managing in-house catering operations; overseeing the College's outside conference and event business; campus space scheduling; providing coordination between campus service providers and the departments and organizations holding events on campus. The Office of Events and Catering works closely with senior administrators and the President's office to ensure that major events, including Commencement, Convocation and honorary degree ceremonies reflect the values and priorities of the College.
Auxiliary Services
Camel Card Office - Responsible for all aspects of the College identification card (“Camel Card”) program which is used for access to facilities, dining services (including board plan and a la carte services), library privileges, printing and photocopying, etc. This office also provides vehicle registration and student laundry cards.
Print Shop and Mailing Services - Responsible for providing printing and photocopying services; managing multifunction printers located throughout campus; bulk mailing services.
Post Office - Responsible for providing mailbox and counter service to campus postal patrons.
Contracted Operations - Includes the College bookshop.
Sustainability - Campus sustainability efforts are rooted in the educational mission of the College. Efforts include integrating sustainability across the curriculum, educating the campus community, modeling sustainable practices and providing real-life learning opportunities for students.
