Where should I leave my valuables during the events?
The Senior Week staff and Connecticut College are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Therefore, please leave all valuables in your room with the door locked. If you do choose to bring valuables to events, you have the option of leaving things inside of your mailbox.
Can I supply my own alcohol to Senior Week events?
Absolutely not. No additional alcohol is permitted during Senior Week activities. Alcohol is available at most of the evening events. The same alcohol policies that are in place during the academic year are in place during Senior Week.
Should I bring my ID to Senior Week Events?
All students who wish to consume alcohol at Senior Week events must carry a valid government-issued ID with them during the duration of the week. If you choose not to comply, Campus Safety has the right and privilege to escort you out of an event.
I have a guest coming for the week; can they attend events?
No. Any person who is not a dues-paying Connecticut College senior will not be admitted entrance to any Senior Week events. The only exceptions are as follows: guests may attend the All Campus Luncheon, Senior Toast and the Friends & Family Celebration.
Can I bring students from other class years to the Senior Week events?
No. These events are meant for Connecticut College seniors who have paid their dues. Any underclassman found in attendance at any of the Senior Week events will be removed from the event, removed from campus, may be subject to the student conduct process and will forfeit their own Senior Week experience.
Are there additional costs during Senior Week?
The cost of the Senior Formal is included in a student's Senior Week dues. If a student chooses not to participate in Senior Week but wants to attend the formal, they must purchase a ticket for $70.
Also, any student who wishes to bring a guest to the formal must purchase a ticket for the guest at an additional cost of $70. Accepted forms of payment are cash, check or money order. Tickets are available in advance only.
Lastly, the College will fine you for any damage attributed to you during Senior Week.
For which events will transportation be provided?
Shuttle buses will be available for any events held off campus. The shuttles will run the length of the event. Please plan accordingly. Once the final shuttle has left, you will be responsible for your own transportation back to campus.
How can I get a refund on my senior week dues?
The last day to request a refund for Senior Week dues is Wednesday, May 8th. Refund requests must be submitted to the Office of Student Engagement during normal business hours (8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday-Friday). Refunds will be in the form of a College-issued check mailed to the recipient's choice of mailing address.
